Thin section lapping and polishing equipment Thin section/sample saw
Thin section/sample saw is used for sawing bulk rock samples for thin section production. The size of rock samples varies from a few cm up to 20 cm in thickness. The saw must be capable of cutting samples with a diameter of at least 10 cm and thin sections sized up to 50 mm x 75 mm. GTK has an external Pfeiffer HiScroll 46 vacuum pump for the use of thin section/sample saw so the vacuum pump is not within the scope of this invitation to tender.
