WSA intends to engage an engineering consultant to complete the following work, summarized at a high level as follows: SCOPE ITEM 1: Design, supply, and install infrastructure necessary to dewater and inspect the Theodore spillway. Contracting services necessary to complete this work would be subcontracted by the successful respondent. SCOPE ITEM 2: Conduct a detailed inspection of the Theodore spillway, including subcontracting services as required such as care of water, cleaning, surveying, bathymetry, LIDAR, sewer camera and jetting, drilling, and coring. SCOPE ITEM 3A: Engineering to complete near-term repairs and upgrades to the Theodore Spillway. SCOPE ITEM 3B: Engineering analysis to determine and define long-term repairs and upgrades to the Theodore Spillway as a concept design. Future Scope Item 4 - not a part of this RFQ - would be development of a detailed engineering design for the elements in Scope Item 3B as well as the procurement and construction field support to administer that work. When combined, Scope Items 3A and 3B should address all known and identified spillway issues except for those that can only be dealt with by replacing the spillway.
