The procurement includes DIS-1 radiation dosimeters, the reader devices needed to read them, and a dose measurement service. The service includes the processing of measurement results, reporting and submitting them to the Radiation Protection Agency's dose register. In addition, the supplier is responsible for equipment maintenance, service and quality assurance. Doseco Oy is the only operator in Finland approved by the authorities that can offer a personal dosimetry service that fully meets the requirements. The service must not only meet the technical requirements (DIS measurement method), but also fulfill the statutory obligation to submit dose data to the Radiation Protection Agency's register.
