This assignment consists of two parts: the delivery of a digital mapping system and a calibrated radio propagation model. For the card system, digital cards are used in two different formats resolutions requested, with updated topographical data which the different infrastructures, environments and associated buildings include. The high-resolution maps cover a corridor around the railway lines and the largest urban agglomerations; the cards in low resolution cover the entire territory of Belgium (with some extensions to neighboring countries). For the radio propagation model, a model must be provided that is calibrated according to the needs and requirements of a rollout railway environment. Support is also requested at the implementation within INFRABEL tools. The supplier must provide the supply necessary software and provide full technical guidance. The map data must be fully compatible with existing systems. The radio propagation model must are calibrated based on measurements on site.
