The recycling center of the future - market dialogue Trondheim municipality invites you to a dialogue meeting about Framtiden's recycling center Thursday 3 September, at 08.30-10.30, in the Great Hall in the Town Hall (Munkegata 1, 2nd floor). Trondheim municipality wants to scale up ongoing work with reuse of building materials by establishing a permanent warehouse available to both public and private actors. The aim is to create a reuse center that is shared by everyone in the construction industry in Trondheim and the surrounding area. The purpose of the market dialogue is to find a business model and an appropriate distribution of roles between public and private actors. We want to survey whether the market is sufficiently established for existing actors to deliver recycling services through an open competition, or whether there is a need for Trondheim municipality to establish a company together with the industry. The project is in the concept phase and the municipality is open to different models in terms of ownership, organization and operation. The market dialogue is mainly intended to be relevant for property owners, contractor companies and suppliers within building materials, recycling and reuse. Invitation with registration, foundation document and report with knowledge base from 2023 is attached.
