Organization of Dutch training courses Organization of French-language courses The call takers of the CIC (Central for Information and Communication, also known as the Emergency Centers 101) need a solid, complete and structured basic training. This basic training for CIC call takers (228 teaching hours in total) is divided into 5 courses, namely: basic principles of judicial & police organization (24 teaching hours); communication (27 hours); prevention of suicide (12 teaching hours); social and technical skills (87 teaching hours); nomenclature of the events and protocols applied (exercises) (78 teaching hours). The objectives of this training are the following: training of the new call takers recruited for the CIC; training focused on the practical aspect of call taking. The organization of the training includes: the practical organization and implementation of the lessons; the administrative follow-up of the students; the observation internships, etc. The maximum estimate of the te services provided, per lot and per year, is as follows: lot 1: 3 Dutch-language basic courses; lot 2: 2 French-language basic courses.
