Subcontract: LOT-0001 Title: Membrane - Storm flood protection in Vejle Description: The call for tenders concerns the establishment of the storm surge protection facility - Membrane (the "Facility") in Vejle. The facility must create storm surge protection to an elevation of 2.5 m. along Tirsbæk Strandvej, with the possibility of adaptation to an elevation of 3.0 m. The storm surge protection must be built into a dyke, which is designed into a dynamic landscape between land and water. The design of the dyke must be designed in such a way that space is created for the recreational elements and nature-based principles. The dyke must be supplemented by a foreland, which protects the coastline and contributes to interaction with the water, and a potentially increased biodiversity in the coastal zone. Vejle Municipality wants to implement the project in a close and equal collaboration between a general contractor (called the "General Contractor"), the General Contractor's advisor, Vejle Municipality and Vejle Municipality's advisors. The form of cooperation must ensure that all relevant skills are integrated in a timely manner in the development of the project. That is why we call the form of cooperation Integrated Plant. By using Integrated Construction, Vejle Municipality wants to ensure that the General Contractor is involved right from the programming phase, and that the General Contractor and the General Contractor's advisor have the opportunity to save and cooperation with Vejle Municipality throughout the process.
