Description

This is a "sources sought" notice, not a Request for Proposal (RFP). This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. Responses to this RFI are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of the response of this announcement, and no basis for claims against the Government shall arise as a result of a response to this sources sought notice.

DESCRIPTION: The Government is conducting market research to determine interest and capability for available commercial business properties for sale to support office and related space.

The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government-s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.

To receive consideration, submitted properties should meet the following criteria:

Be located within the National Capital Region (NCR) (the District of Columbia, Montgomery, and Prince George's Counties in the State of Maryland, Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William Counties, and the City of Alexandria in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and all cities and other units of government within the geographic areas of such District, Counties, and City.Physical Space

Contain office, conference room & administrative spaces to support approximately 3, 300 personnel. Have a maximum of 686, 085 rentable square feet (RSF) of office space, to include a minimum of 54, 839 SF of secured space, with the capability to buildout approximately 1, 058 SF of sensitive compartmented information facilities (SCIF).Building Requirements
