Tenders are invited for the department of education (doe) seeks responses for the supply of payroll data migration & integration services.

& ;doe-s learning management and business reform (lmbr) program-s hr payroll stream has a listing of 2151 business functional requirements. The requirements for the basis of the configuration of an sap payroll system to which the doe will migrate it legacy payroll for over 100, 000 staff across over 2200 schools and corporate.

& ;this open& ;tender is being issued to engage 3rd parties with specialist data migration and integration& ;skills. The department will manage these specialists to design, specify and build the extraction and transformation of doe-s hr payroll data to be written into pre-specified migration file templates or integrate with its target state payroll system.

& ;objective:

the objective of this tender is to engage a panel of suppliers with:

1)& ;the capacity to provide doe with access to the breadth of requisite skills and experience at the volume required to facilitate the achievement the outcomes below:
technical deliverables
hr system input interface specification[from sap]
hr system output interface specification [to sap]
hr system data specification and extraction logic [for data staging repository]
data staging schema and write logic for hr system extracts
sap finance data specification and extraction logic [for data staging repository]
legacy payroll data specification and extraction logic [for data staging repository]
data staging schema and write logic for finance & payroll systems extracts
data extraction and transformation logic [written to sap payroll data specification]

integration testing & support
legacy data extraction & validation
etl development - data transformation& ; and data load testing
data extraction and data load release planning and dry run simulation
sit & uat test support

The suppliers- employees ("contractors") will work under doe directions and may (as part of their work) collaborate with other doe internal and external supplier groups to provide input, technical direction and domain knowledge to aid

no contracts have been established for the above work streams. Doe needs to create the capacity and capability of specialised resources required to complete the above activities without impacting the timeline set for stage 3 of the lmbr program.& ; a panel contract of suppliers with the background and expertise in area will help lmbr achieve its outcomes.
