The AdaptAction program, co-financed by the European Union and AFD, is launching a call for research projects on adaptation in the Mediterranean region. The objective is to fund up to three research projects focusing on water, agriculture and food security, coastal areas, conflict zones, and health. Projects should involve at least two of the eight countries: Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan, and Syria. The maximum budget per project is €160, 000, with a total budget of €310, 000 available. The projects must start in the fourth quarter of 2026 and be completed by April 30, 2028.
