Tender Details
The primary objectives of the assignment are threefold: To support the ILO social security mapping exercise by liaising with social security authorities and other relevant stakeholders at the level of selected governorates and sub-offices; To ensure that the exercise on mapping social security processes in the KRI commissioned by the ILO is validated against the actual experiences of diverse social security beneficiaries; To provide suggestions for streamlining the mapped social security processes in the KRI based on the actual experiences of social security beneficiaries, including the success rates of their claims.While the exercise will focus on business processed under the Law Amending the Implementation of the Workers Pension and Social Security Law no. 39 of 1971 in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (Law no. 4 of 2012)., it will nevertheless be useful to better structure social security processes under the new draft Law on Pension and Social Security for Private Sector Workers in the KRI, once it is passed by the Parliament.
