USPS Request for Information (RFI) -3CW-24-A-0008
Terminal Handling Services - Unit Load Device Tugger
The United States Postal Service (USPS) seeks market information regarding the potential sourcing of 40 tugs. Please see the attached SOW and provide your product specifications and lead times. The desired delivery dates are 12 pcs by December 2023 and 28 pcs by May 2024. Used material handling equipment is acceptable to meet the tight timeline.
Qualification Criteria
For a respondent-s submission to be considered as part of this RFI, the following criteria must be clearly met:
The tugger operator must have access to an operator dashboard. The total minimum towing capacity is 55, 000 lbs. The supplier must be capable of providing all parts and specialized tools necessary for small-scale repair of the tugger.
Responding to this RFI
Interested suppliers responding to this RFI must provide information that addresses the capability of the supplier and shall include, at a minimum, the following:
A technical response to the SOW. Information detailing the supplier-s current and past history and experience in providing the offered technology/solution. Identify the personnel who will be assigned to work this program, their experience, and description of past program they have worked; and Company information to include company name, any subsidiaries or associated companies, company address, company website, company overview, and Point of Contact name and phone number/email address.
