Two separate framework agreements are offered for the purchase of rabies vaccines and TickBorne Encephalitis vaccine (TBE vaccine) respectively. Tenderers can make offers on one or both sub -contracts, and the award of framework agreement is made separately for each sub -contract. Rabies vaccines

partial contract1 relates to the framework agreement on the purchase of rabies vaccine.

The rabies vaccine must be used for children and adults and for both pre- and postal exposure prophylaxis. The vaccine must be delivered in single-dose packages.

The vaccine must have a marketing permit at the time of submitting a marketing authorizationDenmark.

Further requirements for the vaccine are shown in the tender material. 19, 000-35, 000 doses annually, ie. A total estimated amount of approx. 76, 000-140, 000 doses during the term of the framework agreement.

The purpose of the framework agreement is to ensure that SSI can make itThe necessary procurement of the covered vaccines for the Danish market in accordance with the expected need for such vaccines during the maturity of the framework agreements of up to 4 years. The purchase under the agreements depends on the extent of SSI's sales to the private market. Thus, a significant variation can be expectedin the annual purchase. In view of this and that the overall need for vaccines can vary considerably, SSI can overall buy up to 175, 000 doses of rabies vaccines (the maximum quantity) in accordance with the framework agreement during its maturity, cf. more detailed Appendix 2.
