Tender xWDM multiplexer The LUKS operates high-performance network connections based on fiber optic cables (LWL) between its locations and the two data centers, via which the clients, servers and applications receive large amounts of data exchange with each other. The Sursee and Wolhusen locations are currently connected to the LUKS data centers via rented, redundant 10 Gbps fiber optic lines. The capacities of these connections are increasingly being exhausted Transmission speed is no longer sufficient for more and more applications. In addition, the devices for data transmission via optical fibers, the transceivers, will soon reach end-of-life status.
