Tender for the main contract for the reinforcement of Ballum Dike The dike layer in Brede Ådalen is a local association that is responsible for the maintenance and securing of dikes along Brede Å to prevent flooding of the adjacent agricultural areas and valley area. The dike layer in Brede Ådalen's work therefore most often consists of maintaining dike crowns and slopes to ensure stability against water pressure. In accordance with this, the Dike layer in Brede Ådalen now wants the section from Rømø Dam and south to Westerners, who make up a total of approx. 7, 500 metres, to have the existing Ballum Dike reinforced with clay and sand, for which the work will also include excavating and creating a lake area in connection with the extraction of the sand and kläg instances. Against this background, the Digelaget in Brede Ådalen wishes to enter into one construction contract ("the Contract"), which will mainly include the following works and their main quantities: 1. Milling of the growth layer of approx. 18.5 ha dikes (on existing dikes slope, foreland and dike crown) 2. Excavation of 26.8 ha of growth layer and temporary deposition of this on the fore-slope, foreland, crown of the existing dike and on the back slope 3.
