The Minimum Eligibility Criteria for Participation in the Tender

Process are as Follows:

01. The Insurance Company should be Duly Licensed by the

Insurance Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (Ircsl)

02. Gross Written Premium (Gwp) of the Insurance Company during

The Underwriting Year 2022 should not be Less than Lkr 4 Billion

03. Average of the Gross Written Premium (Gwp) of the Insurance

Company for the Underwriting Year 2020. 2021 and 2022 should

Not be Less than Lkr 3 Billion

04. Capital Adequacy Ratio for the Insurance Company should not

Be Less than 160%

05. All Insurers shall Place Their Reinsurance only with Reinsurance

Companies as Per the Guidelines Given by the Insurance

Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka Which is as Follows:
A Bid Bond for LKR 1, 000, 000.00(0ne Million) will have to be submitted by

the bidder along with the Bid. Bids received from Insurance Companies

not compliance with the above minimum requirements will be summarily

rejected without any further notification.

Tenderers should upload their proposal to SLT iSupplier portal, an online

tendering system of SLT PLC, on or before 14:00hrs on 23rd January

2024. Tenders will be opened electronically through the system and

acceptance of the bids will be notified to bidders via the iSupplier portal

itself.

The tender documents/RFP could be obtained via e-mail during office

hours commencing from 09:00hrs on 12th January 2024. till 7 working

days from the date of publishing of this tender notice by e-mailing duly

signed Non-Disclosure Agreement AND the receipt obtained after

payment of the non-refundable document fee of Rs. 3, 000.00 + VAT to any

teleshop or cash counter of Sri Lanka Telecom PLC.
