Tenders are invited for TENDER FOR ROAD REHABILITATION: LEWIS ROAD, ST. ANN.

Tender More Details : The National Works Agency invites eligible contractors to submit tenders for ROAD REHABILITATION OF LEWIS ROAD, LOCATED IN THE PARISH OF ST. ANN. The works consist of bushing and trimming of banks, cleaning earth drains, side drains, and outlets; excavating soft spots and refill. Pavement works including scarifying, base course, prime coat and asphaltic concrete overlay, asphaltic concrete regulation; ancillary road works (kerb and channel), and road sign erection (supply and install).

Eligibility: It is mandatory that contractors be on the National Contracts Commission (NCC)/ Public Procurement Commission (PPC) List of Registered Contractors at the specified level in any of the following categories for their tenders to be eligible: Grade 1 or 2 in the Civil Engineering Works or General Road Works Categories. Tenders must have a valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC).

Availability: Tender Documents will be made available as of Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at the National Works Agency, Corporate Office, 140 Maxfield Avenue, Kingston 10, in the Directorate of Regional Implementation & Special Projects.

Fee: A non-refundable payment of $5, 000.00 in cash or Manager`s Cheque, payable to the Chief Executive Officer, National Works Agency, is required for each set of Tender Documents.

Return of Tenders: Completed tenders along with Bid Security (400, 000.00) in the form of a Manager`s Cheque from a local bank or Tender Bond from an insurance company, Public Procurement Commission (PCC)/ National Contracts Commission (NCC) Certificate of Registration and a valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC), are to be placed in an envelope labelled "ROAD REHABILITATION WORKS LEWIS ROAD, LOCATED IN THE PARISH OF ST. ANN". The envelope should then be placed in the Tender Box similarly labelled and located in the reception area of the National Works Agency`s, Corporate Office, 140 Maxfield Avenue, Kingston 10. Tenders are to be returned no later than 10:00a.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2019.

Tender Opening: The Tenders will be opened at 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2019, in the Conference area of the Regional and Special Projects Department, National Works Agency, Corporate Office, 140 Maxfield Avenue, Kingston 10. Tenderers or their representative are invited to the opening.

All queries concerning the Tender Document shall be made in writing and addressed to: Moira Williamson, Major Projects Manager (Acting), National Works Agency, 140 Maxfield Avenue, Kingston 10, by Wednesday September 11, 2019.

Tenders not accompanied by a valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC) and NCC/PPC Certificate of Registration will be rejected.
