Bundaberg Regional Council is establishing a Register of Pre-Qualified Supplier (RPQS) arrangement to cater for a varied range of Recruitment and Labour Hire Services to assist Hiring or Branch Managers in managing their individual requirements. The intent of this arrangement is to provide Council with easy access to professional Labour Hire Services by removing the requirement for open tendering and providing effective and streamlined procurement processes, thereby saving time and costs.Council will have an optimal choice of recruitment and labour hire service providers who have a strong regional presence, thereby promoting the development of competitive local business and industry.Hiring or Branch Managers using this established register of prequalified suppliers- arrangement are fully compliant with the Local Government Act 2009 and Local Government Regulation 2012, in their purchasing activities.
