The services include operational support, technical adaptation, modification and material survey. In addition to operations during the sustainment phase, support to FMV during acquisition and decommissioning and equipment development is also covered. The framework agreement must ensure that the knowledge and competence areas required for both new procurement and for the maintenance and decommissioning of equipment are available over a long period of time for FMV operations. FMV may also call for smaller volumes of equipment that are directly connected to the services. The services are divided into eleven tender areas: Combat vehicles 90, Tank, Armored Terrain Vehicle, Tracked Vehicle, Wheeled Vehicles & Snowmobiles, Anti-Aircraft, Indirect Fire, Soldier Systems, CBRN, Medical Systems and Field Nursing.
