The intention of the RFI is to gain a thorough understanding of technical solutions related to the decarbonization of legacy district energy systems, including but not limited to technologies such as air-source and ground-source heat pumps, wastewater heat recovery, exhaust heat recovery, and data centre heat recovery. The intent is also to understand various financing and operational options available to implement these technical solutions.
