The overall objective of the contract is to support the Ministry of Education and Science (MOES) to prepare the capital investments to establish Centres of Excellence (CoE) in Vocational Education and Training (VET) in up to seven selected administrative regions (Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Odesa, Ternopil, Volyn, Zakarpattia) in Ukraine and subsequently support the MOES and the local contracting authorities to implement successfully the EIB financed VET in Ukraine project (the ‘Project-). The main purpose of this contract is to provide support to the MOES in development of detailed engineering design at each of the selected sites, as well as support the procurement and implementation of the investment strategy of the MOES within the total available EIB loan funds. The contract will require coordination between the various stakeholders of the Project including the MOES, the VET centres, local authorities and other competent authorities, to enable smooth implementation realising the investments in buildings and equipment to improve and modernise the facilities at up to seven VET centres.
