Tender Details

The City of Helsinki's Transport Department ("HKL" or "Customer") is bidding for a tandem wheel turning lathe. The procurement is a tandem wheel turning lathe to be purchased for Metrovariko in Roihupello for the maintenance and repair turning of metro train wheels. Acquisition includes wheel turning lathe with its peripheral systems installed and put into working condition. The acquisition is related to the first-time equipping of Roihupello Metrovariko track 13. The construction of track 13 is estimated to start in December 2027, and the Main Contractor is selected before the start of construction. Raide 13 will tentatively be completed in autumn 2029. Lathe installation work and preparatory work can start in Q1/2029 at the earliest.
