The Department has determined that this project is eligible for a Categorical Exclusion (CE) in accordance with 18 AAC 76.235. Accordingly, the Department is exempting the project from further environmental review requirements under the Department-s EPA-approved State Environmental Review Process.Due to per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contamination in existing private wells, this project will design and construct approximately 2, 390 linear feet of a new water distribution main, 26 service connections, approximately 3, 280 feet of on-property service extensions, and six fire hydrants.
