Tender Details
The University of Calgary (UCalgary) intends to purchase a table-top dilution refrigerator (Version LPO) from Qinu GmbH. This unit will be used to perform quantum optics experiments with atomic defects in diamonds. Importantly, this cryostat can achieve a 30 mK base temperature with an arbitrary magnetic field (afforded by a vector magnet), allowing for rapid magneto-optical characterization of defects. To the research team's knowledge, this is the only supplier that can provide a system with the mandatory requirements that fits the space requriements.
