McKinlay Shire Council (‘Council’) invites tenders from suitably qualified tenderers for selection as a pre-qualified supplier of slashing services.THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO APPLY IF YOU ARE NOT ON THE PANEL. Tenders have the opportunity to join the existing panel that commenced on 1 December 2025 and ends on 30 November 2027.If you are currently on the panel, then you do not need to reapply.Council intends for the appointment as a pre-qualified supplier to commence on 1.12.2025 and end on 30.11.2027(‘Term’). The Principal may extend the Term, at its discretion, for a further 12 months by giving written notice to successful Tenderers. The Principal may also, during the Term, conduct a further procurement process to appoint other suppliers.McKinlay Shire covers 40, 728 km2 including four townships – Nelia to the East, McKinlay and Kynuna to the South and Julia Creek as the central town. The Shire is bounded by the Shires of Richmond, Cloncurry, Carpentaria, Winton and Croydon.
