Sjukvårdsapotek VGR has operations at all hospitals within VGR. In every hospital with 24-hour operations, there is one or more near-care drug stores (VNL) with 24-hour availability. The purpose of VNL is to provide rare medicines and constitute a buffer stock. All 29 VNL in the region are equipped with medicine dispensers, two of which are in a production-like test environment. The procurement includes solutions that ensure efficient, safe and traceable storage and handling of medicines within the region's hospitals.
