REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS DESCRIPTION OF SCOPE OF WORK The Work covered under this project consists of the furnishing of all superintendence, overhead, labour, materials, tools, equipment, insurance, fuel, transportation and all things necessary for and incidental to the satisfactory performance and completion of the modernization of a single direct-acting, buried hydraulic passenger elevator at the Surrey Sport & Leisure Complex, located at #100 - 16555 Fraser Highway, Surrey, British Columbia, V4N 0E9 (the “Place of Work”) in strict accordance with the Specifications and accompanying Drawings and subject to all terms and conditions of the Contract. The general components of the Work include: Modernization of one direct-acting, buried hydraulic passenger elevator including new motor, hydraulic jack, overspeed valve, pit shut-off valve, solid-state hardware, auxiliary slowdown devices, position transducer, control system, car door restrictor, door operator and associated equipment as identified in the attached Specifications. INFORMATION MEETING An information meeting will be hosted by the City Representative to discuss the City-s requirements under this RFQ (the “Information Meeting”). While attendance is at the discretion of Contractors, Contractors who do not attend will be deemed to have attended the Information Meeting and to have received all of the information given at the Information Meeting.
