This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The surgical instrument maintenance program (simp) is to provide maintenance, repair, and training of surgical instruments utilized by clinics and operating rooms which are not limited to minimally invasive surgery instruments and micro instruments. This service will provide support to ensure the instruments are maintained in operational condition. The service supports the davis grant medical center (dgmc) mission by maintaining standards and the availability of surgical instruments and scopes so that key medical care and operation is not delayed for the dgmc staff at travis afb.
Documents submitted in response to this solicitation must be fully responsive to be eligible for an award and consistent with the following requirements set forth in "addendum to 52.212-1 proposal preparation instruction" of the solicitation, (contract line items numbers (clins) and performance work statement, and government standards and regulations pertaining to the pws.
All questions regarding this solicitation shall be received no later than 2:30pm pst 19 january 2017.
