Support for a seamless, secure and efficient operation of the central Infrastructure of the Informatics of the Municipality of Thessaloniki for a period of twenty -four (24) months, with the criterion of awarding the most economical bidding on the basis of a budget of 312, 480.00 € (with VAT 24%).

The municipality Thessaloniki maintains and develops a complex and extensive Infrastructure and Communication Infrastructure Network, which consists of a data center in the town hall covering the City Hall and about 120 buildings throughout the city. This network includes Cisco high -end devices Performance, which ensures the safe, uninterrupted and efficient operation of the municipal services.

Infrastructure structure and description

The Network of the Municipality of Thessaloniki is based on a hierarchical architecture, which includes three basic levels:

1.Core layer (central network):

The central network It is located at the Town Hall Data Center and is the core of the infrastructure. Here are the main servers, storage storage devices, and Cisco devices that manage the VoIP data and telephony traffic. The main devices in Core Layer are:

OCISCO Nexus 56128p Switches: They are used for high performance interface between servers and storage devices.

Ocisco Firewall Firepower 2110, Cisco Firewall Firepower 1120, ASA-5545-x Firewalls: Provide threat protection and ensure its safety network.
