REQUEST FOR INFORMATION. This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Regional Directorate-Mechanicsburg, PA on behalf of the NAVSUP WSS personnel supporting naval weapon-system sustainment activities at the Philadelphia and Mechanicsburg locations. The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Regional Directorate-Mechanicsburg, PA Office is seeking marketing information, from responsible sources to gain knowledge of potential qualified business sources capable of providing the following services in the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW). NAVSUP WSS has a requirement to procure and to obtain services identified in the attached Draft SOW to provide required access to a commercially available, web-based parts and materials database to support sustainment of Naval Weapon Systems and Platforms operating beyond their projected service lives. A qualified vendor must have access to GIDEP (Government Industry Data Exchange Program) and to FAA databases used to identify and manage obsolescence and counterfeit material avoidance can satisfy this requirement. NAVSUP WSS has determined that the ability to obtain parts through a database that can cross reference military and commercial elements, consolidate information from diverse sources, connect to GIDEP (Government Industry Data Exchange Program) and to FAA databases used to identify and manage obsolescence and counterfeit material avoidance is indispensable to meet its mission requirements. In addition, provide supplier verification (ensure supplier is not on the Federal Debarment List, addresses are correct, origin registration, and applicable certificates), ensuring the stock listed by the suppliers are accurate and updated, provide companies in accordance with the government supplier listing program, provide a government research tool, and provide NATO national stock number data.
