Description : BACKGROUND

WHO, in collaboration with other partners, has been supporting the sub-committees of national RAMNCAH committee on technical quality assessments: family planning for sub-committee 1 (reproductive health and adolescent); antenatal care (ANC), and intrapartum care and emergency obstetric care (IPC/EmOC) for sub-committee 2 (maternal health); Early Essential Newborn Care (EENC) for sub-committee 3 (newborn care); and Child Health for sub-committee 4 & 5 (sick child and well child). The support also includes capacity development of each sub-committee on data management, data analysis, and national evidence based strategic planning

PURPOSE/SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE OF THE ACTIVITY

To support RMNCAH sub committees on data management of the RMNCAH technical quality assessments

DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES TO BE CARRIED OUT

• Draft a technical report on the mid-term review report technical presentations for the meeting

• Revision of the tools for RMNCAH technical quality assessment

• Instruct and train the focal point in the government on data management

METHODS TO CARRY OUT THE ACTIVITY

• Compilation and analysis of primary health care quality assessment according to the RAMNCH program M&E framework

• Communications with Maternal and Child Health unit in WPRO

• Meetings with the government counterpart

• Continuous communications with the supervisor and the MCH team
