Energy represents a significant part of REOA-s operating budget. In 2024, 14 GWh were consumed for an amount of 3.4 million Euros excluding tax. Furthermore, energy costs are expected to increase in the coming decades, which is why energy management is becoming an important issue for the Régie. This contract should make it possible to support REOA in better controlling its energy expenditure through more detailed knowledge of electrical consumption and the costs associated with the implementation tools to analyze them, detect deviations and target where actions should be taken to optimize electrical energy and also ultimately enable preparation for ISO 50001 certification.
