Description: BACKGROUNDNon-communicable diseases (NCDs) and health systems strengthening are the focus of the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) current support agreement to Nauru-s health sector, in line with priorities identified with Nauru-s Ministry of Health and Medical Services (MHMS). The World Health Organization (WHO) role within the DFAT support to the Ministry of Health and Medical Services has been to focus on improving the prevention and management of NCDs via the implementation of WHO-s Package of Essential NCD Interventions in Primary Care for low resource settings (PEN), tobacco control, the delivery of effective NCD-related health promotion campaigns and setting up an NCD committee (multi-sectoral approach to reduce risk factors).As part of its support to Nauru Ministry of Health and Medical Services, WHO seeks to hire a consultant to evaluate the NCD Project 2018-2022 and to document challenges and lessons learnt during implementation to inform...
