BACKGROUND:
The Support to Enhancement of the Philippine Experience Program in Western Visayas is proposed as
a vital initiative to strengthen the implementation of the Department of Tourism-s (DOT) Philippine
Experience Program (PEP) in the Western Visayas Region (Region VI).
The components of this project include the planning activity, the capacity development of the key
players, the purchase of promotional materials and equipment to support the project implementation
and the updating of the digital assets for promotion.
Among the expected activities and output are the revisiting of DOT VI plans for 2026 to ensure the
alignment of the schedule and deliverables for the PEP, the conduct of Makanayon Cultural Leadership
Training for Tourism Officers and DOT VI personnel, a sufficient and ready supplies and materials that
