Tenders are invited for Supply of Vrla Batteries for Remote Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer (Dslam) Cabinets
Services include the supply of VRLA Batteries for RDSLAMS. The batteries are required to provide smoothed DC voltage and/or emergency power supply to DSLAM cabinets. The Tender is separated into Two Types of batteries. Type A is for batteries rated at 80Ah and Type B is for 100Ah batteries. Batteries supplied by the Contractor shall be guaranteed against failure due to quality of material, workmanship, design or any other failure, excluding those attributed to errors on the part of operating personnel, for a period of at least twenty-four (24) months after their delivery and successful acceptance to Cyta Central Stores. Batteries shall be monobloc valve-regulated lead-acid type, GEL or AGM, operating on the recombination principle, acceptable to international telecom industries and administrations, and shall conform to CYS EN 60896-21:2004 and CYS EN 60896-22:2004 and the test provisions described in these standards. Batteries shall be rated as a deep cycle, capable to sustain occasional discharges down to 42VDC per bank (10, 5V per battery)
LOSING DATE Tenders shall be placed by the Tenderers or their representatives in Cyta-s Automated Tender Box at Ground Floor, Head Office Building, Telecommunications Street, Strovolos, Nicosia, Cyprus, by 10.00 hours on Friday, 24th of June 2022, which is the Closing Date and Hour. Tenderers should note that the Tender Box will automatically lock at exactly 10.00 hours on the Closing Date with the indication «CLOSED».
Tenders are to be held open for acceptance for 90 days from the specified Closing Date. A Tender valid for a shorter period shall not be taken into consideration.
