Abstract: The Council has a requirement for the supply of consumables for license plates and badges and other associated products.It is envisaged that a contract with a single supplier will be established for a period of three (3) years, with the option to extend for a further period of up to 24 months. Items will be ordered on an as required basis and there is no guarantee of quantities or supply under this contract.The Council licence hackney carriages, private hire vehicles, dual purpose hackney carriage and private hire vehicle drivers, scrap metal traders and issue personal licences in accordance with Licensing Act 2003 which require the production of plates or badges.The Requirements across all items are as follows:(i) Must be durable and weather resistant.(ii) Licenses and badges shall be provided with suitable templates which will allow the Council to add specific information(iii) Templates for printing the various Licences and badges must be compatible with the Council-s licensing database, currently Diamond or any other database(s) that may supersede Diamond, such as Civica APP Cx.(iv) All licences must be ...
