INVITATION TO BID
The Science Education Institute (SEI), through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites
Contractors/Bidders to apply for eligibility and to bid for the hereunder project:
Name of Project: Supply of IT Equipment, Security Device and Security Software
Location: Science Heritage Building, DOSTCompound, Bicutan, Taguig City
Brief Description: Supply of Endpoint Security/Anti-virus Software Subscription, Unified Threat
Management Security Device with Subscription, Computer (For IS and Web
Development), Computer (Server), Computer (Integrated MSR, Barcode
Reader and Smart Card Reader), LCD Projector, and Laptop Computer
Approved Budget of the Contract: Php 1, 560, 000.00
Contract Duration: Fifteen (15) calendar days
Delivery Period: Fifteen (15) calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed
Prospective bidders should have experience in undertaking a similar project within the last two (2)
years with an amount of at least 50% of the proposed project for bidding. The Eligibility
Check/Screening as well as the Preliminary Examination of bids shall use non-discretionary "pass/fail"
criteria. Post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid shall be conducted.
All particulars relative to Eligibility Statement and Screening, Bid Security, Performance Security, Pre-
Bidding Conference(s), Evaluation of Bids, Post-Qualification and Award of Contract shall be governed
by the pertinent provisions of the RA9184 and its 2016 Revised Implementing Rules and Regulation.

5. Post-qualification: 04 October 2017
Bid documents will be available only to eligible bidders upon payment of a non-refundable amount of
One Thousand Five Hundred Pesos (Php 1, 500.00) to the SEI Cashier.
The SEI assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses
incurred in the preparation of the bid.
