Tender Details

The city of Aarschot is reviewing the current software landscape surrounding its Civil Affairs department (population, civil status and immigration affairs). Currently, the service does not use the same software application for all components. Consequently, there is worked in different ways at the service. This has a number of limitations: • files are becoming more complex and family members are increasingly registered in different registers and have different questions at the same time (such as a application for permanent residence in Belgium, simultaneously with an application for Belgian nationality); • employees who take on different roles within the service must regularly switch to a different working environment; • it is more difficult to allowing employees to take on different roles within the service; • the learning curve for new employees is unnecessarily long because they have to get to know multiple working environments and applications; • a more flexible work organization within the service is more difficult to achieve realize; • cost-effectiveness, including in terms of the connections to be made. That is why the board wants one total solution for the following modules with an unlimited number of user licenses: • Population, including digital housing control; • Foreigners; • Civil status.
