SCOPE OF BID:
Supply and deliver to Elim, St. Elizabeth, one (1) hydraulic amphibious excavator - Tier 3 Emission Standards Diesel Engine 157 HP Net, complete with amphibious undercarriage and pantoons. Provide training/demonstration training sessions for NIC operators and mechanics.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Bidders shall be local agents for manufacturers of industrial heavy duty equipment and registered with the Public Procurement Commission (formerly NCC) in the category of Industrial, Construction Equipment & Machinery, in possession of a valid Tax Compliance Certificate/Letter, and provide a Bid Security of J$200, 000.00.
BID COLLECTION & SUBMISSION:
Bidding Documents can be collected from the Procurement Unit at the National Irrigation Commission Ltd.'s head office located at 191 Old Hope Road, Kingston 6, as of Wednesday December 4 2019 to Tuesday December 17, 2019, between the hours of 9:00 am and 3 pm. Bidders will be required to attend a Pre-Bid Meeting on December 12, 2019 at 10:00 am at the above-stated address.
Bids shall be delivered to the above-stated address on or before 12 noon Friday, January 3, 2020, and deposited in the Tender Box located in the Administration Building at the above-stated address.
BID OPENING:
Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders' representatives who choose to attend in person at the above-stated address at 12:15 pm. on Friday, January 3, 2020.
Bids shall be valid for (120) days after the bid submission deadline date.
