Tenders are sought for the supply and installation of a colony pinning robot. The robot will be used to support research in prof. Kenneth wolfe's laboratory. It will be used to construct and replicate arrays of colonies of yeast species such as saccharomyces cerevisiae, and to analyse their growth phenotypes. It will be used to construct arrays by locating and picking colonies from scattered locations on petri dishes. It will also be used to transfer yeasts between solid (agar) and liquid media, in standard molecular biology array formats
