Abstract: Hywel Dda University Health board has a tender requirement for fire stopping & fire door installation contractors registered with a reputable fire stopping organisation, such as FIRAS or similar (as approved by the HDUHB), to supply and install fire compartmentation & associated works within one of its medical records storage facilities at Unit 3, Heol Cropin, Dafen, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, SA14 8QW.Proposed works, work to include:Fire compartmentation & associated works within Digital Scanning Room Unit 3, Dafen medical records storage facilities.The HDUHB will only engage competent persons to carry out this work, therefore contractors will be mindful that a competent person is one who can demonstrate one of the following:1.Has demonstrated to be part of a certification body running a UKAS accredited ‘Competent Persons- scheme to EN ISO 17024:2003 (Personnel Certification) competence in the installation of passive fire protection.2.Works for a third party certificated installer under the conditions of that scheme.3.Works for a company operating a company based ‘Competent Person- scheme certificated again...
