Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Supply and Delivery of Two Water Trucks.

1. The National Irrigation Commission Limited (NIC) invites bids (rom eligible Bidders for the Procurement ol two Water Trucks (or delivery to the NIC Head Office. The National Irrigation Commission Limited as part ol its strategic objective for the financial year 2019-2020 has set itself a target to purchase Equipment in order to increase quality service. The Water Trucks will replace the current Water Trucks which are obsolete and suffer from frequent breakdowns. Delivery Penod is expected within 3-4 months of signing the contract.
2. To be eligible, local entities/representatives for the manufacturers of the Water Trucks unit are required to be currently registered with the Public Procurement Commission (PPC) in the Category Transportation and Haulage, Industrial, Construction Equipment and Machinery and possess a valid Tax Compliance Letter/Certificate accompanied by a Bid Security of Thirty Thousand Jamaican Dollars (J$30, 000.00). Documentary evidence that the Supplier has the required basic spare parts is to be provided.

4. Bid Collection Period: September 17, 2019 to September 26, 2019 from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. The
Bidding Document may be collected from the address above.
5. Bids shall be valid (or a period of 120 days after bid closing and must be delivered to the address above by or before 12:00 noon, Friday, October 4, 2019 and deposited in the Tender Box located in the Administrative Building at the address above. Late bids will be rejected.
6. Bids will be opened in the presence ot the Bidders` representatives who choose to attend in person at the address above at 12:15 p.m., Friday, October 4, 2019 in the Conference Room at the above address. Tenders shall be appropriately marked on the outside of the sealed envelope:
"SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF TWO WATER TRUCKS"
Bids submitted by Bidders who do not purchase the
Bid Document from the National Irrigation Commission will be rejected.
