The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) invites qualified vendors to express their interest in participating in a competitive solicitation process for the supply and delivery of semi-armored patrol and interception vessels in support of UNODC activities in Haiti.Background:The UNODC GlobalMaritime Crime Program seeks to enhance the capacity of the Haitian Coast Guard by equipping them with high-quality, semi-armored patrol vessels and related accessories to strengthen maritime security operations.Key Specifications and Components:The requirement includes the provision of two (2) patroland interception vessels, which must be semi-armored with a naval aluminum hull and ballistic protection designed to withstand threats commonly encountered in maritime security operations. Each vessel must feature light ballistic shielding for the console and removable ballistic panels for addedversatility. The vessels, equipped for patrolling and police interception, should include high-performance outboard engines delivering speeds of up to 45 knots, robust maneuverability in challenging sea conditions, and self-draining decks. Additionally, the vessels must integrate advanced navigationand communication systems, ensuring operational effectiveness in coastal and riverine environments.
