The GOS requires the supply and delivery of new tire deflation devices (spike belts) for the Ministry of Corrections, Policing, and Public Safety (Ministry), Provincial Protective Services Branch the Saskatchewan Highway Patrol, and the Saskatchewan Marshalls Service. These tire deflation devices (spike belts) will allow law enforcement officers to safely perform their job duties. These devices will allow law enforcement officers to safely slow down and stop fleeing vehicles, while avoiding unnecessary, dangerous high speed pursuits from occurring.
