Tender Details

Tenders are invited for Supply and Delivery of Medals for Botswana Prison Service.

The tender uses the Open Domestic Bidding Method. The Procuring Department is Botswana Prisons Sendee. In order to be considered for award of the contract, you should be registered with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board in the following categories: Code: 211 - General Supplies, Sub-C`ode: 04 - Clothing Apparels and Fabrics and/or Code: 213 - General Manufacture/Producers, Sub-Code: 09 - Clothing and Fabrics.

Presidential Directive 19 (B 2013) the Local Procurement Scheme is in line with Citizen Economic Empowerment Policy and section 66 (3) of PPADB Act both of which advocate for the economic empowerment of women, youth and people with disabilities in general and specifically in the rural areas will be applied in this tender, bidders should attach relevant documentation for entitlement to the Scheme (certified Identity Card, Certificate of Disability or sworn declaration for the entitlement to tire scheme.

Preferences will be to suppliers with Economic Diversification Drive (EDD) under the Cabinet Directive CAB No. 11 of 2010 Economic Diversification Drive as per Guidelines on the Diversification and Stimulation through preference margin based on turn over and threshold shall be implemented in the evaluation of this tender. The successful to abide by tire undertakings given by the undertakings given on the Diversification and Stimulation of 2010 published by tire Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry.

Bidders should be registered with the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry and attach certified copy of Economic Diversification Drive (EDD) Certificate for illegibility to receive preference under lliis tender.
A non-refundable fee of PI 00.00 (One Hundred Pula only) cash payable in favour of the Government of Botswana is required on collection of the Tender Document. Youth companies will pay P50.00 (Fifty Pula only).
