Detailed_Description : The Ministry is seeking a qualified Vendor to supply and deliver Helicopter Movement Carts for use by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). References to “helicopter” and “aircraft” throughout should be interpreted as referencing Airbus H-135 twin-engine helicopters that form the OPP-s helicopter fleet.
Scope of Work : The OPP operates Airbus H-135 twin-engine helicopters that are equipped with skid landing gear. Aircraft skids allow for rough terrain landings, reduction in aircraft weight lending to fuel savings, and simplifies maintenance requirements. In order to move a skid-equipped helicopter, an electric motorized movement cart is required. To ensure the fastest response time to a call for service, each helicopter sits on a movement cart when on ground so that it can be deployed out of the hangar within minutes.
