Tasmania Fire Service (TFS) currently operate three (3) aerial platforms across its urban based career stations throughout the State of Tasmania. These appliances are reaching ‘end of life' due to compliance requirements.In this tender DPFEM/TFS is seeking the supply of three (3) new aerial firefighting and rescue platforms to replace the current fleet and increase existing capability in line with current and future needs identified through a risk profile of each urban centre and the state as a whole.The new aerial platforms form part of the DPFEM appliance replacement program which is for up to three (3) new appliances over the next three years.
