Supplier conference: ØKOBAR - National analysis program for barcoding and sequencing How can DNA barcoding provide better monitoring of the coast and the freshwater environment? We look forward to delving into this question when we invite suppliers to a conference about it the upcoming procurement ØKOBAR. ØKOBAR is a new national analysis program which will develop and operate a joint platform for the use of molecular methods on marine phytoplankton and benthic animals in freshwater. In the long term, it is hoped that the platform can be expanded to more people organism groups, provided that methodology and workflow are sufficiently standardised. The supplier conference is held at the Environment Agency's premises at Helsfyr.
