The County of Mohave, on behalf of the Department Name, is inviting the submission of Statements of Qualification (“SOQ”) from firms or individuals qualified to offer professional Civil Engineering services for the design of a flood control basin in Fort Mohave, Arizona. All proposals are due before Response Submission Time on Response Submission Date.The intent of this effort is to provide 100% design of a flood control basin. A 30% design will be submitted as part of the application to ASLD for the land purchase. The basin should be designed to either eliminate or reduce the downstream Special Flood Hazard Area, protecting approximately 40 structures from flooding, through the CLOMR/LOMR process. The design is being funded through Flood Control District budgeted monies. The Flood Control District intends to apply for grant funding to construct the basin.
