This is a subcontracting opportunity.
The department of labor job corps centers provide academic, vocational, and life-learning skills to at risk youth and young adults at 125 job corps centers across the united states (u.s.). As part of this program, youth and young adults at the centers are provided healthcare services as follows: medical, dental, mental health, and drug & alcohol intervention. Each job corps center has a need for basic health services provided by licensed medical professionals that includes examinations and assessments, treatment, issuance of prescriptions and immunizations, monitoring health conditions, recommending hospitalization, follow-up care, and prevention planning.
The gerald r. Ford job corps is soliciting bids to provide prescription filling services by a licensed pharmacy. As a part of the service arrangement the following needs of the center must be met:
•. Free medication delivery
•. Paper medication administration records tailored to meet the needs of the patients. This will include non-medical terminology when labeling dosing instructions for example: take one capsule daily in the morning).
•. Individually labeled blister packs that can be broken apart from the main card that meet state of michigan labelling requirements.
•. Provide stock medications to be used by trained and licensed medical professionals.
•. Procedures in place for providing overnight service of stat medications.
•. Low-cost generic medications
•. Medication pass observation training for non-medically trained residential advisors.
Responses to this solicitation must contain all of the following: a copy of current state of michigan license, pricing for the medications below, examples of blister packs, delivery timelines, and ordering process description. This subcontract covers september 1, 2016 until august 31, 2017 contingent on continued funding from the federal government to minact, inc. And the grfjc.
